2014 was a year of growth for Arla Foods UK, the UK’s number one dairy company, despite challenging global conditions. At 2.8 billion euros (£2.3bn) the UK continued to be the largest market for Arla Foods amba representing 27 per cent of the group’s revenue.

The Arla Foods amba on-account price will remain unchanged in February 2015. There is, however, a small , positive, adjustment to the 2015 forecasted 13th payment which equates to a 0.06ppl increase, raising the UK standard litre price to 24.87 pence.
Arla Foods Ingredients is set to sell lactose ingredients through the Global Dairy Trade (GDT) online auction platform for the first time as part of its bid to become the world’s leading lactose supplier. Arla Foods Ingredients intends to start selling lactose via GDT from 15 April 2015.

The Arla on-account price will reduce by 2.5 eurocents per kg, with effect from 5 January 2015. The combined impact of the on-account price and 13th payment changes takes the quoted UK standard litre to 24.81ppl, a total decrease of 2.03ppl.
After a thorough investigation into Arab Dairy Product Company, Arla has decided not to place a final offer. Alternative options to enter the Egyptian market are now being explored.
