Bamboosh get into the World Cup Spirit with Company-wide Competition

Maidstone’s most dynamic young direct sales and marketing firm have recently taken inspiration from the football fever that is sweeping the nation in order to run a company-wide competition to incite motivation.

Bamboosh: About the firm

The competition, initiated by Managing Director, Luke Walker was designed to create excitement amongst the firm’s contractors, eager to explore lessons that can be learnt from the tournament. Each contractor at the firm has been assigned a team competing in the event, and individuals can earn points from meeting their sales objectives throughout the next month. Bamboosh has created an office leaderboard with a multitude of prizes to be won.

In response to their recent competition, Bamboosh has released a statement on lessons they believe can be learnt from one of the most widely watched and biggest tournaments across the globe.

1/ One individual does not make a team: Bamboosh recognises that companies often run as a link, successes and objectives respond to the success and objectives of others, it requires individuals to run in sync with one another to work well. Contractors must have a shared interest in success, with strong open lines of communication argues Bamboosh.

2/ Foundations are more critical than style: Bamboosh details the importance of laying strong foundations, this directly affects the company’s ultimate success. As in football and business, the importance of progressing a business through leadership is an essential aspect that should be present within every business model.

3/ Positivity always prevails: Bamboosh has long been advocates of creating a positive environment, alongside similar mindsets since their inception. Jon Gordon, author of The Power of a Positive Team argues that “Negativity exists and you can't ignore it if you want to build a positive, powerful team.”

Bamboosh is passionate about providing inspiration within the every day, and Managing Director, Luke Walker, is eager to urge professionals at the business to take inspiration from popular events. The firm frequently runs such incentives across the business, contributing to their results-driven and vibrant company culture. The entrepreneur is hopeful that this statement will continue to inspire contractors to look beyond what they first see.
