Bamboosh return from New York City focused on Maximising their Business

Maidstone’s most successful direct sales and marketing firm, Bamboosh recently returned to the UK from a hugely successful business trip to Manhattan. Here, Managing Director, Luke Walker took one of the firm’s highest performers to the US industry awards ceremony. Mr Walker also took this opportunity to visit some of the leading offices in North America in order to network and share expertise.

Bamboosh: About the firm

The entrepreneur and business owner, Luke Walker, has returned from this venture with an invigorated focus on growth. The business has taken a new focus in recent weeks and is excited to begin the implementation that will see them accelerate their business in the coming months.

“The information we received on this business trip was invaluable, the US market is expanding dramatically, and I want Bamboosh to be leading growth in the UK. This trip provided me with an insight into the speed of which the US owners think, and we’re going to replicate that here in Britain” explained the entrepreneur.

In response to this interest in expansion and new direction, Bamboosh has launched an investigation into US-based small enterprises that have recently been dubbed the ‘Small Giants’ by Forbes, 2017. The following businesses have been valued on their ability to maintain robust business models, an outstanding direction in their industry and frequently contribute to their local communities.

1/ Dutch Bros. founded by Travis Boersma and Dane Boersma: This is a drive-through coffee establishment that requires those interested in franchising in the company to work for three years before applying. The owners then have a hand in the expansion, providing expenses and paying the initial $30,000 fee. “We simply don’t tolerate toxic behaviour to the culture,” says CEO and co-founder Travis Boersma.

2/ Dansko founded by Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup: This small business that sells shoes, initially started by selling products from a car boot. The company now boasts an impressive employee stock-ownership programme. Cabot has also initiated a process that minimises harmful effects upon the environment and holds their manufacturers to high labour standards.

3/ ImageOne founded by Robert Dube and Joel Pearlman: A small printing service company that has built a company culture on staff initiatives and cost-cutting ideas. The firm has had a staggering employee turnover in the previous three years: zero.

Bamboosh is eager to begin implementing lessons from the US market, excited to focus on their growth and continue their work in the sales and marketing sector. Managing Director, Luke Walker is planning to continue their domination and shape the future of the industry, by continuing to coach young professionals who describe themselves as aspiring entrepreneurs.
