  • Top quality sports facilities coming soon to Ramsbottom

    Major site works at Top Park, Ramsbottom have advanced over the winter months to create top quality sports facilities, including a £1.5m new state of the art, full size 3G floodlit-all-weather football pitch.

  • Preserving Peel Tower

    Thanks to a grant of £57,000 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, a condition survey is to be carried out at Peel Tower with a view to preserving this iconic landmark, originally unveiled in 1852, for many years to come.

  • More electric buses for the Bee Network

    Go North West, in partnership with Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM), will introduce 19 new electric double-decker buses to the Bee Network on 5 January 2025. This expansion increases Go North West’s electric fleet to 69 buses, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly public transport in Greater Manchester.
