World of Volvo chooses Götaplatsgruppen as its restaurateur

World of Volvo opens in 2024 – a joint venture by Volvo Cars and Volvo Group, with the ambition of becoming a new, exciting meeting place in central Gothenburg. A vibrant destination that will offer exhibitions, experiences, events, conferences and restaurants.

It has now been confirmed that Götaplatsgruppen will run the restaurants and manage all food and beverages at World of Volvo. Götaplatsgruppen is a well-known player. The group successfully runs a number of restaurants in Gothenburg including Tavolo, Toso, Mr.P and SK Mat & Människor and the summer season’s Bar Himmel.

World of Volvo is currently under construction. The site is a little south of Liseberg and thanks to its location and architecture, World of Volvo will be a new landmark in central Gothenburg, and also part of the city’s new entertainment strip. Visitors will be able to learn about topical subjects through exhibitions and events, experience design and culture, get involved in important issues and visit the building’s restaurants.
