One year left – countdown until grand opening of World of Volvo!
World of Volvo, a highly anticipated experience hub located in the heart of Gothenburg, is set to open its doors to the public in just one year. The opening festivities will span several days and conclude on April 14th, which marks Volvo's birthday.
Gothenburg's new landmark destination promises to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience with varying themes featured throughout the year. The goal is to create a dynamic and ever-changing destination that keeps visitors coming back to discover something new and exciting each time they visit. As a hub for inspiration, entertainment and exhibitions, this unique building – designed by Danish architectural firm Henning Larsen - will add value to Gothenburg's event district.
Visitors of World of Volvo can expect to be immersed in a world of motion and excitement. With interactive displays and exhibits World of Volvo want to create an environment with a vision to inspire, entertain, challenge and educate. In addition to the exhibitions, World of Volvo will also feature a wide variety of entertainment options. From live performances and concerts to workshops and talks.
No visit to World of Volvo would be complete without a stop at the restaurant run by the well renowned and award-winning restaurateur "Götaplatsgruppen", which are known to provide extraordinary culinary experiences. Whether you are dining or just enjoying a "Swedish fika", there’s something to suit every taste at World of Volvo.
