Visa launches “AIB Everyday Rewards” – a rewards programme for AIB cardholders

Visa has announced the launch of “AIB Everyday Rewards” offering AIB cardholders cashback from some of Ireland’s favourite shopping brands.

“AIB Everyday Rewards” is powered by Visa’s Card Linked Offers which uses transactional data to serve customers attractive, relevant and simple cashback offers. In order to join the programme, AIB customers simply need to register their AIB Visa debit or credit cards on the AIB Everyday Rewards portal. Customers can register up to five AIB cards, giving them flexibility and choice to match their spending habits when redeeming offers.

“AIB Everyday Rewards” allows AIB to give added value to their customers by providing access to great deals. Customers don’t have to worry about printing vouchers or entering codes to take advantage of the offers. Once they have made a purchase through the programme with their registered Visa card, they will automatically receive cashback into their Visa account, typically within five working days. New offers will be made available to customers every week from a wide range of retailers. Some of our launch partners include: Lidl, Topaz, Boots, H&M, Easons, Butlers Chocolate Café, Elverys Sports, Parking Tag, Apache Pizza and Enterprise Rent a Car.

Retailers participating in the Visa Card Linked Offers programme not only have the opportunity to attract new and lapsed customers, but are also able to reward loyal customers. The benefit for retailers is that unlike other digital advertising channels, Visa provides them the ability to link a very specific offer to a specific consumer and the retailer only pays when a sale is made.

Visa’s Card Linked Offers (CLO) is already live in several markets, including the UK and Poland.

This will be the second implementation of Visa’s Card Linked Offers platform in Ireland, with GoREWARDS being launched in 2016 by permanent tsb.
