Aroundtown secures long-term lease renewal for around 5k sqm at the Newton House office building in Utrecht

One of the Big Four’s auditing and consulting firm extends lease by five years and secures modern office space in a prime location

Aroundtown, one of Europe’s largest real estate companies, has secured a significant long-term lease renewal at Newton House, a modern office building in Utrecht and part of the MMNT Utrecht Newtonlaan B.V. project. The international Big Four auditing and consulting firm has extended its lease for a total of 4,670 sqm of office space.

The building comprises approximately 26,000 sqm of total floor area and offers a broad range of modern amenities, including a reception, security and concierge service, air conditioning, state-of-the-art elevators, and 24/7 access.

Sustainable and Energy-Efficient
The building is designed with sustainability in mind and has been awarded with a BREEAM certification with a very good score. It features a range of energy-efficient technologies that support both environmental responsibility and operational cost savings. These include a thermal energy storage, mechanical ventilation system with integrated cooling, modern LED lighting throughout the premises, and an energy-efficient climate control system that ensures a comfortable indoor environment while minimizing energy consumption. EV-charging stations are available in the parking garage. This combination makes the property well-suited for companies seeking to align their workspace with modern sustainability standards.

Designed by Rietveld Architects in New York, Newton House is located in the Rijnsweerd Noord office park in Utrecht, on the eastern side of the city between Science Park Utrecht and the city center. The building’s entrance area has recently undergone a complete renovation, with a focus on creating a spacious lounge zone that brings together multiple functions. The staff restaurant has also been fully modernized. The building offers a wide range of shared facilities, including a coffee bar, staffed reception desk, grab-and-go restaurant, and meeting rooms. Aroundtown sluit langdurige huurovereenkomst voor binja 5.000 m² in het Newton House-kantoorgebouw in Utrecht

Een van de vier grote accountantskantoren en adviesbureaus verlengt zijn huurovereenkomst met vijf jaar en verzekert zich van moderne kantoorruimte op een toplocatie.

Aroundtown, een van de grootste vastgoedondernemingen van Europa, heeft een belangrijke langlopende huurverlenging veiliggesteld in Newton House, een modern kantoorgebouw in Utrecht en onderdeel van het Project MMNT Utrecht Newtonlaan B.V. Het internationaal actieve accountants- en advieskantoor heeft zijn huurovereenkomst verlengd voor in totaal 4.670 m² kantoorruimte.

Duurzaam en energie-efficiënt

Het gebouw is ontworpen met duurzaamheid als uitgangspunt en is gecertificeerd met een BREEAM-certificaat. Het beschikt over diverse energie-efficiënte technologieën die zowel milieubewust ondernemen als operationele kostenbesparingen ondersteunen.
