Aroundtown signed leading educational institute for its Amsterdam office, reducing vacancy by 75% with negotiations ongoing for the remaining vacant area

Aroundtown completed the reletting process of its 9k sqm office property in Amsterdam that had recently become vacant following the departure of a large financial services firm as the single tenant. The reletting process was already executed prior to the asset becoming vacant, utilizing Aroundtown’s large letting network and efficient operational platform. The new tenant is well recognized as being among Europe’s best educational institutes and the lease with the tenant is for a period of 10 years. AT is in negotiations with potential tenants for the remaining vacant area and expects to finalize matters in the coming periods due to the strong demand for office space in Amsterdam. The seamless process of reletting the asset and the high quality of the tenants being drafted in, highlight Aroundtown’s strong asset management capabilities.

The 9k sqm office property is situated in one of Amsterdam’s prime office districts Amsterdam Zuidoost, home to the Ajax stadium, Ziggo Dome and the university hospital AMC, one of the largest and leading hospitals in the Netherlands. The Bullewijk metro station is situated in front of the property, and the intercity train station Amsterdam Zuidoost is situated walking distance from the property, providing excellent access by public transportation. The A2 and A9 highways can be reached in just a few minutes, connecting the property on Hogehilweg 21, 1101 CB Amsterdam to the rest of Amsterdam as well as the surrounding metropolitan area.
