Aroundtown Foundation spendet an die Tafeln in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt a. M., Hamburg und Leipzig
Die Aroundtown Foundation unterstützt die Tafeln mehrerer deutschen Großstädte mit lokalen Spenden. Die Geldmittel werden insbesondere für Hygiene-Artikel und Nahrung aufgewendet. Damit kommt die Hilfe der Stiftung gezielt an – in den Kernregionen des Portfolios der Aroundtown Gruppe.
Die Tafeln verteilen kostenlos, oder wie in Frankfurt für einen symbolischen Euro, Essen und Lebensmittel an einkommensschwache Menschen und sind deutschlandweit vor Ort organisiert. Sie sammeln täglich überschüssige oder abgelaufene, noch genießbare Lebensmittel, um Menschen bei einer gesunden und ausgewogenen Ernährung zu unterstützen.
Über die Aroundtown Foundation
Die Aroundtown Foundation wurde 2018 gegründet. Die Stiftung übernimmt gesellschaftliche Verantwortung und setzt sich gezielt und pragmatisch für Projekte und Institutionen im nachbarschaftlichen Umfeld des Portfolios ein. Die Unterstützung der Aroundtown Foundation kommt gezielt an und stärkt das lokale Miteinander. Aroundtown Foundation donates to food banks “die Tafeln” in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt a. M., Hamburg and Leipzig
The Aroundtown Foundation supports the food banks “die Tafeln” in several major German cities with local donations. The funds are used in particular for hygiene articles and food. In this way, the Foundation's help is targeted - in the core regions of the Aroundtown Group's portfolio.
The food banks distribute food and groceries to low-income people free of charge, or as in Frankfurt for a symbolic euro, and are organized locally throughout Germany. Every day, they collect surplus or expired food that is still edible to help these people eat a healthy and balanced diet.
