Damit unterstreicht Aroundtown den Stellenwert von Nachhaltigkeit und die eigene unternehmerische Verantwortung, die Aroundtown als eines der größten Immobilienunternehmen in Europa übernimmt.

Die Initiative der Vereinten Nationen unterstützt Unternehmen und Organisationen u.a. mit vielfältigen Lern- und Dialogformaten darin, Nachhaltigkeit strategisch und unternehmerisch zu verankern und so Verantwortung für eine bessere Welt zu übernehmen. Mit über 1.000 deutschen Teilnehmenden – von DAX-Unternehmen über den Mittelstand bis hin zu KMU sowie Vertreterinnen und Vertretern der Zivilgesellschaft, Wissenschaft und Politik – ist das UN GCD das größte Nachhaltigkeitsnetzwerk in Deutschland. Grundlage für die Arbeit des UN Global Compact sind die „10 universellen Prinzipien unternehmerischer Nachhaltigkeit“ und die „17 Ziele für nachhaltige Entwicklung (SDGs)“ der Vereinten Nationen.

Aroundtown is a founding member of the UN Global Compact Network Germany.

In doing so, Aroundtown underlines the importance of sustainability and its own corporate responsibility as one of the largest real estate companies in Europe.

The initiative of the United Nations supports companies and organizations with various learning and dialogue formats to anchor sustainability strategically and entrepreneurially and to take responsibility for a better world. With more than 1,000 German participants - from DAX-listed companies to SMEs and representatives of civil society, science and politics - the UN GCD is the largest sustainability network in Germany. The work of the UN Global Compact is based on the 10 universal principles of corporate sustainability and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.
