Aroundtown erhält Baugenehmigung für Büroturm in Frankfurts City
Die Baugenehmigung markiert den Startschuss für die Revitalisierung des 88 m hohen Büroturms mit ca. 19.000 m2 in der Hafenstraße 51 – in bester Innenstadtlage direkt neben dem Frankfurter Hauptbahnhof. In den oberen Etagen entstehen moderne Büroflächen mit zusätzlichen Veranstaltungsflächen und einem einladenden Eingangsbereich. Highlight wird die großzügige Skylobby in der 19. Etage mit atemberaubendem Blick über die Skyline von Frankfurt.
Strukturen und Technik neu gedacht
Im Rahmen des Neuaufbaus wird das Gebäude in seiner Struktur und den Nutzungsmöglichkeiten komplett neu gedacht. Das Gebäude wurde hierfür bereits zurückgebaut und entkernt. Ab Frühjahr 2023 wird die gesamte Fassade mit neuen Elementen versehen. Im Inneren werden alle technischen Anlagen erneuert und neu angeordnet, um optimale Grundrisse zu schaffen. So entstehen pro Etage rund 860 m² Fläche zur Gestaltung moderner und nachhaltiger Büroflächen. Ziel ist es, nach Abschluss der Bauarbeiten eine LEED-Gold-Zertifizierung zu erhalten.
Am Puls der Zeit
Mit einem hellen, repräsentativen Entrée und zentralem Empfang wird der Büroturm alle Nutzer:innen und Gäste willkommen heißen. Dazu wird das Erdgeschoss zu beiden Seiten geöffnet. Zusätzlich laden gastronomische Einrichtungen zum Verweilen ein. Für eine noch höhere Aufenthaltsqualität wird hin zum Adam-Riese-Platz ein nachhaltiges Außengestaltungskonzept mit begrünten Sitzmöglichkeiten umgesetzt.
Zentral in bester Lage in Frankfurts Innenstadt
Das Objekt liegt zentral direkt am Hauptbahnhof Frankfurt in der Hafenstraße 51, 60327 Frankfurt, und ist damit optimal angebunden. Flughafen, Messe und das Autobahn-Westkreuz sind schnell erreicht. Nahegelegene Einkaufszentren bieten zahlreiche Einkaufs- und Versorgungsmöglichkeiten, entlang der Mainzer Landstraße findet sich eine Vielzahl an Restaurants und Hotels.

Milestone for new development and revitalisation on Hafenstrasse
Aroundtown receives building permit for office tower in Frankfurt's city centre
The building permit marks the start of the revitalisation of the 88m high office tower with appr. 19.000m² at Hafenstraße 51 - in a prime city-centre location right next to Frankfurt's main central train station. On the top floors, modern office spaces with additional event spaces and a welcoming entrance area will be created. The highlight will be the spacious Skylobby on the 19th floor with a breathtaking view of the Frankfurt skyline.
Structures and technology rethought
As part of the reconstruction the building is completely rethought in terms of its structure and usage. The building was already built back to shell & core. Starting spring 2023, the entire façade will be fitted with new elements. Inside, all technical systems will be renewed and rearranged to provide optimal floor plans. This will create appr. 860m² per floor for the design of modern and sustainable office spaces. After construction completion, the goal is to obtain a LEED Gold certification.
At the pulse of time
With a bright, representative entrance and central reception, the office tower will welcome all tenants and guests. The ground floor will be open on both sides. Additional F&B facilities will invite visitors to linger. For an even higher quality of stay, a sustainable outdoor design concept with green seating areas will be created towards Adam-Riese-Platz.

The property is centrally located directly next to Frankfurt's main central train station at Hafenstraße 51, 60327 Frankfurt, and is thus optimally connected. The airport, the trade fair centre and the Westkreuz motorway intersection can be reached quickly. Nearby shopping centres in close vicinity offer numerous shopping and supply options, and there is a large number of restaurants and hotels along Mainzer Landstraße.
