After days of waiting, multiple venue changes, and constantly shifting weather, the Freeride World Tour finally went ahead in classic high-alpine conditions. Strong winds, fresh snow, and a heavily featured north-facing venue forced riders to adapt on the fly.
The HEAD Worldcup Rebels once again celebrate a bunch of podiums this weekend, with Sara Hector winning her first victory of the season in the Giant Slalom in Špindlerův Mlýn on Saturday. In the Slalom on Sunday, Camille Rast and Emma Aicher podium in second and third place.

Following her victory in the Giant Slalom in Kranjska Gora at the beginning of January, Camille Rast takes second place in this discipline in Kronplatz. Sara Hector also confirms she's on top form at the moment with third place on Tuesday.
An incredibly successful Sunday makes it a fantastic weekend for the HEAD Worldcup Rebels. Emma Aicher and Lindsey Vonn clinch a double victory in the Super-G in Tarvisio, and Atle Lie McGrath wins the Slalom in Wengen for the second year in a row. On top of that, Stefan Babinsky finishes second and Franjo von Allmen third in the Super-G in Wengen on Friday, while on Saturday.
There's no holding back Lindsey Vonn. The U.S. athlete wins the Downhill on a shortened track in Zauchensee on Saturday, followed by her HEAD team-mate Kajsa Vickhoff Lie. Her 45th victory in the Downhill and 84th victory in the World Cup sees the 41-year-old athlete continue to increase her lead in the discipline ranking. Paco Rassat also delivers a sensational performance.
