The four-year wait is over - on April 26th we again open the doors to the long-awaited Nordbygg and this year’s most important construction meeting. The entire public construction sector has longed to be able to see industry colleagues again and take part of the news and innovations. Soon it will be reality!
Just a month to go until Nordbygg welcomes the whole industry to this year’s most important construction meeting. The last preparations for the fair are underway and the stage programmes are nearly set. All that is missing are the visitors and the exhibitors.
Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair has decided to cancel the postponed fair in September. The new dates are February 7–11. “We want to unite the design industry and focus on a strong comeback after two years of absence”, says Hanna Nova Beatrice, Project Area Manager, Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair and Stockholm Design Week.

The restrictions have been lifted and noone is happier than we - finally we can meet at the most important construction meeting of the year. Nordbygg invites you to several stages with jam-packed programmes and something for every visitor, but there will be extra focus on tech and the industry’s future development.
The exhibition "Talking to Åke" is currently on at the Sven-Harry Art Museum (Sven-Harrys konstmuseum). The exhibition, curated by Stockholm Design Week's Hanna Nova Beatrice, is a part of design history with the Swedish design icon Åke Axelsson meeting several contemporary Swedish designers.

Stockholm Design & Architecture Talks, the seminar program of Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, have divided their seminar into one digital and one physical part. With “BEing a Game Changer” as the overall theme, the seminar focus on the most important issues facing the industry right now.
Formex, the largest interior design fair in the Nordics, is set to reopen its doors on the 18th of January. With next edition’s theme titled Next Mindset, Formex has commissioned design agency Bang Universe who in turn will translate the theme into an exhibition called After Before Party.
For the upcoming edition of Stockholm Design Week a number of new initiatives will be launched to further enhance the experience for the visitors and strengthen the bonds between the city and the fair. It includes a new interactive SDW-app listing all the city exhibitions and a new exhibition concept at the fair called The Library.
On February 8th, Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair once again opens its doors. They are invited to an updated, optimized and experience-driven fair where Scandinavian design and the latest developments in sustainability take center stage like never before.
Due to the current national situation, Formex in August has been canceled. Instead, Formex is providing a whole host of digital activities – the studio program Formex Talks on the three themes of Sustainability, Retail and Global Trends will be streamed on August 24–26, plus the trends for this fall will be presented in a digital trend guide.
