As the new official arena for Fashion Week Stockholm, the Grand Hôtel is pleased to welcome Sweden’s leading fashion brands between August 30 and September 1. Numerous participating designers will be showing their upcoming spring/summer collection over a three-day period. Stockholmers and visitors to the city are invited to open fashion week events to catch the latest on the Swedish fashion scene.

February 13 will mark the opening of Rutabaga – a brand new restaurant by Mathias Dahlgren. At Rutabaga, Dahlgren will build his vision of future cuisine featuring world class lacto-ovo-vegetarian dishes. Guests can expect a warm and welcoming restaurant experience in a relaxed and vibrant, high-tempo environment.
The Grand Hôtel’s annual shellfish weeks at the Veranda restaurant are eagerly awaited by many. In order to meet the demand for this celebrated shellfish buffet, the hotel is now introducing a shellfish platter at the Cadier Bar.
Mathias Dahlgren’s restaurants Matsalen and Matbordet at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm will be serving their last meals on December 22, 2016. Thereafter, the premises will be undergoing an extensive renovation, making way for a completely new restaurant endeavour.
The Grand Hôtel’s popular crayfish buffet at the Veranda is a cherished August tradition to which many guests return year after year.
The Grand Hôtel has been awarded three stars by the international publication World of Fine Wine and its new wine guide – World’s Best Wine List 2016. Furthermore, the Grand Hôtel has been honoured with the distinction “Europe’s Best Hotel Wine List.”
Grand Hôtel is putting on its summer attire and paying tribute to the Swedish Midsummer with three sittings at the Veranda restaurant. Guests can enjoy a classic midsummer smörgåsbord with all imaginable dishes and trimmings, while enjoying a beautiful view of the Stockholm waterfront.
