The proximity to the stunning archipelago, full of outstanding nature experiences and beautiful views, is really one of the greatest advantages of Stockholm. The archipelago consists of over 30,000 islands, so there is something for everyone.

    The hotel and restaurant industry has been hit hard by the current corona crisis. Therefore, the Grand Hôtel has chosen to enter into a collaboration with the Skill Shift Initiative in Stockholm, with the aim of creating a new intensive education that utilizes the expertise that exists in the hotel and restaurant industry to relieve the pressure on Elderly Care Services in the City of Stockholm.

  • Grand Group AB acquires Hotel Drottning Kristina

    The Grand Group AB is pleased to announce the acquisition of Hotel Drottning Kristina, a move that further strengthens the group’s position as leader in the luxury hospitality segment in Stockholm. The Grand Group, which runs the Grand Hôtel Stockholm and Lydmar Hotel, will take over Hotel Drottning Kristina’s operations from October 1, 2018.

  • Grand Hôtel opens two newly renovated suites

    Today marks the inauguration of what is perhaps the most exclusive accommodation in Stockholm – two of the Grand Hôtel’s signature suites. Both suites have been totally renovated and are now named the Rooftop suite and the Flag suite. Behind the new interiors is the world-renowned, Swedish-born designer Martin Brudnizki, who made his debut in the Swedish market with this project.

  • Grand Hôtel welcomes the Venetian countryside with exclusive fragrances from Bottega Veneta

    Grand Hôtel is pleased to present new bathroom amenities from the Italian brand Bottega Veneta, renowned for fine craftsmanship in exclusive leather products. Inspired by art and nature, the hotel’s new Eau Légère scented products exude tones of citrus, bergamot, patchouli and oak moss. All guest room bathrooms at the hotel will be stocked with these exclusive toiletries in mid-May.

  • Guest chef performance by Grand Hôtel at Tokyo Food Festival

    This year, Japan and Sweden celebrate 150 years of diplomatic ties. In conjunction with the celebrations, the Palace Hotel Tokyo has invited the Grand Hôtel’s executive chef, Gabriel Ask, to make a week-long guest chef performance with a Swedish touch. From April 20-27, Gabriel and his team will take over the Grand Kitchen restaurant at the Palace Hotel Tokyo.
