    Mathias Dahlgren, the star chef behind acclaimed restaurants such as Matbaren and Rutabaga, is opening the doors on August 11 to a new dining concept – Seafood Gastro – at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm. Offering a tasting menu that celebrates aquatic delicacies from within, around, and atop the water, the restaurant is a journey of gastronomic discovery for guests as well as Mathias and his team.

    Stockholm's restaurant scene is getting a new addition. Rutabaga, which has been creating world-class vegetarian dishes since 2017, will continue to grow in new forms outside the Grand Hôtel Stockholm. A new restaurant by Mathias Dahlgren will take over Rutabaga's former premises after the summer.

    On September 2-6 “Street food by Diners Club” is coming to Stockholm. On a tour of the Nordic countries, this isn’t just any food truck circuit.     Mathias Dahlgren retains Michelin stars

    The 2014 edition of Michelin Guide has been reveled today and for the sixth year running Mathias Dahlgren’s two restaurants at the Grand Hôtel, Stockholm, Matbaren and Matsalen, have retained their respective two and one stars. In the same announcement, the Michelin Guides' international director Michel Ellis announced that a standalone guide for the Nordic countries will be issued in 2015.

    Winners of the White Guide 2012 awards were honoured yesterday, March 5, at an awards gala in the Vinterträdgården at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm. The ‘Service experience of the year’ category was awarded to Mathias Dahlgren’s Matsalen restaurant for its innovative and ambiance-enhancing service.
