  • Mathias Dahlgren interprets Swedish christmas food

    For the first time ever, Mathias Dahlgren is taking on Christmas food and cooking up his interpretation of yuletide produce and flavors, spiced with a big pinch of innovation. During the month of December, his Christmas dishes will be served at Matbordet, where chefs will cook five courses using Christmas produce with a contemporary twist for a maximum of 10 guests at a time. Booking is now open.

Located centrally in the main lobby of the hotel, the boutique offers an exciting, contemporary array of clothing and accessories from leading international and domestic designers.   • Pia Djupmark new CEO of Grand Hôtel

    Grand Hôtel Stockholm is pleased to announce the appointment of Pia Djupmark as the hotel’s new CEO. Bringing with her extensive experience in the hotel industry, Djupmark joins the Grand Hôtel from a comparable post at Radisson Blu Royal Viking, where she had been employed in vari­ous positions since 1996.

  • Grand Hôtel Stockholm Acquires the Majority of Lydmar Hotel

    As of July 1st 2013, Grand Hôtel will be the majority owner of Lydmar Hotel AB. The goal is to create a stronger product together with the current owners in order to help make Blasieholmen in Stockholm an attractive meeting point.

  • Grand Hôtel opens summer café on Strömkajen

    Strömkajen, the quay in front of the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm, underwent an extensive renovation during the winter and spring, and one new addition is the hotel’s newly opened café. Passersby can enjoy a cup of coffee or take away a summery salad, with the beautiful view of the Royal Palace as an added bonus.

  • Grand Hôtel strengthens its position with new rooms and suites

    The Grand Hôtel in Stockholm continues its ongoing renewal and enhancement work with the goal of positioning itself as one of Europe’s leading five-star hotels. Following extensive renovation, 19 elegant new rooms and suites on the third floor are now ready for their first guests. An additional ten rooms on the floor will be inaugurated in May.
