Press release -

Hedin Automotive Earns 2022 Great Place to Work Certification in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Switzerland.

Hedin Automotive is thrilled to announce it has been certified as a 2022 Great Place to Work across five companies in four countries. The recognition is based on anonymous employee survey results across 5 dimensions that define high-trust, high-performance cultures; Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride, Camaraderie. This year, 82% of employees said it’s a great place to work. Hedin Automotive operates in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Switzerland.

Hedin Automotive owns and operates one of the largest BMW and MINI dealers in the Nordics, Bavaria, which since its inception had a clear focus on building a culture based on solid values. The company has experienced expansive growth and has undergone major changes, but has always worked purposefully to continue its strong customer centric culture. Today, Hedin Automotive is one of the largest BMW and MINI players in Europe with dealerships in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Switzerland. The company is also a major independent supplier of spare parts and accessories for BMW in Norway and Denmark through its subsidiaries GS Parts and Koed.

The automotive industry is undergoing major transformations, and customers are placing higher and higher demands on service and competence. Hedin Automotive wants to be in the driver's seat in the development and has a proven track record and desire to take the customer experience to the next level.

- In Hedin Automotive we live by creating excellent experiences by way of our unparalleled customer service. The only way to accomplish this is to create a culture and an environment where employees thrive, are provided opportunities to grow and express their individuality. Trust is also a critical success factor. It is therefore an honour to be recognised by and to have received such positive feedback from our employees in all participating companies. We know that our culture is special, and our focus now is building on that strong foundation to become a top employer in every country where we operate. The certifications are a testament to our hard work and the steadfast dedication of our valued employees, says Marcus Larsson, CEO of Hedin Automotive.

Hedin Automotive received an 90% employee response rate with an impressive total Trust Index score of 77% with high rankings in all five dimensions Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride, Camaraderie.

Surprisingly different, noticeably better
Being surprisingly different and noticeably better is in the company´s DNA.

- Our "Next Level"-culture determines how we work together, solve challenges, innovate, and treat our colleagues and customers. Our people are highly skilled at what they do, so our jobs as leaders is to get them to work well together, unlock their joint potential and inspire them to question the status quo and create unique customer experiences. To achieve that, the team must be able to be themselves, have fun, explore, experiment and make mistakes. We constantly remind our employees that making mistakes is a fundamental part of learning and development. It is therefore imperative that we show our employees trust and care and that we express gratitude for their achievements. Our employees are ultimately the ones who drive us forward, Larsson continues.

According to Great Place to Work, the best workplaces are characterized by employees who trust their employer, are proud of the work they do and feel a sense of community with their colleagues.

- A trust-based culture will ensure that employees, regardless of level and role, contribute to the development of the business. Happy employees increase revenue, profit and provide unique customer experiences. The certification isn’t something that comes easily, it takes ongoing focus and dedication. We have worked with Hedin Automotive for years, and the results speak for themselves. Through systematic measurement, analysis and the company´s focus on continuous improvements, Hedin Automotive and its subsidiaries have shown that they put employees first. We congratulate once again on certification as a "Great Place To Work", says Jannik Krohn Falck, CEO of Great Place to Work Norway.

No time to rest
- We never rest on our laurels. The results of the survey will help us continue to improve and make decisions to shape our future. Our employees are ultimately the ones who drive us forward, Larsson concludes.
