Tengai Announces Seasonal Recruitment Initiative

Press release -

Tengai Announces Seasonal Recruitment Initiative

Every Summer there are around 900 000 temporary recruitments in Sweden and this number is expected to increase in 2023. The growing demand and high volumes of candidates are creating challenges for recruiters who efficiently need to assess applicants to make better hiring decisions. With Tengai’s AI interview for seasonal recruitment, it is now possible to quality-assure and shorten the process.

STOCKHOLM, Oct 3, 2022 - Tengai AB, announces a solution for organizations with seasonal hiring needs to meet the growing market demand. In August 2022, there was an increase of 98 000 temporary employment in Sweden compared to the previous year, according to The Statistical Database. This has left many organizations in need of an efficient way to identify suitable candidates for high-volume job positions. To successfully create an efficient and quality-focused seasonal recruitment process, Elin Öberg Mårtenzon CEO at Tengai identifies the screening phase to be a critical phase.

- Seasonal hiring usually has a short time frame and the pressure to perform often leads to a weak screening of potential employees, since recruiters lack the time to quality-assure the high volumes of applicants. As a result, inexperienced or unqualified workers often get the job. But with Tengai's digital screening interview, recruiters get access to structured data which makes it possible to quickly identify matches between candidates and jobs.

Fewer touch points lead to a quicker process

Giving candidates access to a digital screening interview, that can be done from anywhere, at any time, makes it possible to include more applicants in the process and shorten the hiring process, at the same time. By automating the screening process with a digital AI interview, it becomes possible to enhance the candidate experience according to the Chief Product Officer at Tengai, Sinisa Strbac.

- Giving candidates the flexibility to conduct the screening interview at their own convenience has created more efficient processes, where more candidates can be screened faster. Candidates want short application processes and feedback on their interview performance.

While the Tengai interview is convenient for candidates it also reduces the number of touch-points and handoffs that recruiters have to stickhandle for every new applicant. By automating the screening phase, recruiters don’t have to coordinate busy schedules or manually screen every applicant, which will save countless hours.

Give every candidate personalized feedback

Creating a successful seasonal recruitment process that engages every applicant is important for the overall experience. But it can be an overwhelming task to give feedback to every applicant. With Tengai, HR professionals can send personalized feedback to every candidate. Regardless if an applicant moves on to the next step of the recruitment process, job-seekers get feedback on their performance and an idea of how the interpretation of their personality is made, before the result is sent to the recruiter in the next step. Giving candidates information and feedback is proven to increase the hiring process and strengthen the organization's employer brand.
