This December, World of Volvo will be filled with music, warmth and soul as Titiyo and Augustifamiljen take the stage together for five unforgettable evenings. Joined by the choir from Performing Arts School, they create December Lights – a musical Christmas experience where the magic of Christmas and Swedish folk songs meet warm soul and personal pop.
Following the success of its Thursday Jazz initiative, World of Volvo is continuing to give jazz an even more prominent place in its programme. This autumn, the venue will be filled with jazz, soul, blues and swing – from recurring Thursday evenings at Ceno Brasserie to two major concerts celebrating iconic voices in jazz and popular music: Sonya Hedenbratt and Frank Sinatra.
After the successful and much-appreciated Thursday Jazz series, where audiences have gathered for live music and atmospheric evenings, World of Volvo is now taking the next step in its musical venture. This autumn, two exclusive concerts featuring some of Sweden’s leading big band ensembles await visitors - Gothenburg Jazz Orchestra and Bohuslän Big Band.
This spring promises a vibrant season of live jazz as a line-up of outstanding artists take to the stage inside the magical architecture of World of Volvo, at Ceno Brasserie, on selected Thursdays. With free admission and with a 18.00 start, an open and welcoming meeting place is created for both devoted jazz enthusiasts and curious newcomers, who can also enjoy Ceno’s specially curated menu.
From 9–13 February, World of Volvo’s event hall in Gothenburg will be transformed into a creative meeting place for the whole family. During the winter break, children and young people are invited to enjoy dance performances, children’s theatre, VR experiences and open, inspiring spaces – where culture, technology and play come together.
Today, Monday September 15, tickets go on sale for two unique concert experiences in Gothenburg. In October, Monica Zetterlund will be celebrated at World of Volvo, and in December Jill Johnson invites audiences to a magical Christmas evening together with Augustifamiljen at the same venue.
This autumn at World of Volvo offers a range of new features in both exhibitions and stage programs. As a brand center and meeting place in the heart of Gothenburg, we continue to develop our offerings with temporary exhibitions, fall break activities, and current guest performances – for visitors of all ages.
As spring blossoms, World of Volvo invites the public to a month filled with dance, music, and the joy of movement. Across three inspiring events in May, visitors will have the chance to experience culture up close – whether through unique encounters with musicians, captivating dance performances, or engaging activities for parents with babies.
