This autumn at World of Volvo offers a range of new features in both exhibitions and stage programs. As a brand center and meeting place in the heart of Gothenburg, we continue to develop our offerings with temporary exhibitions, fall break activities, and current guest performances – for visitors of all ages.
World of Volvo kicks off the summer with the exhibition Volvo in Motorsport, where visitors are taken on a high-speed journey through Volvo’s involvement in motorsport – from classic rally cars to circuit racing and technical innovation.
World of Volvo is expanding with an all-new experience: Traffic School, an outdoor driving track where children aged sju to twelve can drive electric Volvo cars and trucks in a realistic traffic environment. In a playful and educational way, children will learn the basics of traffic safety – and even get the chance to earn their very first “driver’s license.”
The exhibition Volvo Models – Through the Years presents, for the first time ever, Volvo’s 98-year history gathered in one place. On the large plaza on level 2 of World of Volvo, over 100 detailed scale models showcase Volvo’s development through the decades – from the very first ÖV4 to today’s EX90.
For almost a century, Volvo has developed vehicles that help emergency services protect, rescue, and assist people. World of Volvo now presents its new exhibition, In case of emergency – innovations that save lives, a tribute to the vehicles and solutions that make the world a safer place.
After almost 30 years in the Volvo Museum in Arendal, it is time for Volvo’s iconic vehicles to shine in their new home at World of Volvo. Gothenburg’s new experience centre will open on 14 April – and the vehicles are ready to welcome their first guests.
In April, Gothenburg’s new experience centre, World of Volvo, will be opening its doors. The centre features a 4,500 m2 exhibition that has been designed with focus on “omtanke”, i.e., care for people. Here, visitors will be able to explore everything from Volvo’s most iconic vehicles to real-life stories and extraordinary interactive experiences.
