Grünes Portfolio von Aroundtown wächst weiter

Aroundtown setzt das Engagement für ein nachhaltiges Portfolio erfolgreich fort. Mit der BREEAM-Zertifizierung für zwei weitere Bürogebäude erweitert das Unternehmen den grünen Gebäudebestand auch im Großraum Frankfurt.

Das erste zertifizierte Büroobjekt in der Olof-Palme-Straße 35 hat 27.000 m², wurde im Jahr 1993 errichtet und 2013 umfassend modernisiert. Heute erfüllt es die hohen Umweltstandards von BREEAM. Die Büroimmobilie liegt verkehrsgünstig im Norden Frankfurts, an einem Autobahnkreuz mit Anschluss an die Frankfurter Innenstadt sowie an das gut ausgebaute Fernstraßennetz und in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Campus Riedberg der Goethe-Universität. Zum Objekt gehören auch Tiefgaragenstellplätze.

Das zweite zertifizierte Gebäude, Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 12 in Eschborn, ist ein 22.000 m² großes Bürozentrum. Eschborn ist ein wichtiger Wirtschaftsstandort im Raum Frankfurt mit einer Vielzahl von Unternehmen, darunter auch große internationale Konzerne aus den Branchen Automobil, Finanzdienstleistungen, Kommunikation und Technologie. Mit einer direkten Autobahnanbindung und einer S-Bahn-Station in unmittelbarer Nähe ist das Objekt optimal erreichbar und angebunden. Die zweigeschossige Parkgarage bietet rd. 450 Stellplätze für Mitarbeiter und Besucher.

Mit der Zertifizierung von Bürogebäuden nach BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) setzt Aroundtown einen weiteren Schritt in Richtung eines nachhaltigen und umweltfreundlichen Büroportfolios. BREEAM ist eines der weltweit führenden Zertifizierungssysteme für grüne Gebäude und bewertet den ökologischen Fußabdruck sowie die Nachhaltigkeit von Immobilien. Aroundtown hat erfolgreich begonnen, auch für sein deutsches Büroportfolio Green-Building-Zertifikate zu erlangen. Bereits vier Gebäude an den Standorten Frankfurt, Leipzig und Kassel sind nach BREEAM- bzw. DGNB-Standards zertifiziert, während weitere Green-Building-Zertifikate in Vorbereitung sind. New BREEAM certifications for office buildings in the Frankfurt metropolitan area

Aroundtown's green portfolio continues to grow

Aroundtown successfully continues its commitment to a sustainable portfolio. With the BREEAM certification for two more office buildings, the company is expanding its green building portfolio in the Frankfurt metropolitan area as well.

The first certified office property in Olof-Palme-Strasse 35 in Frankfurt has 27,000 sqm, was built in 1993 and extensively modernized in 2013. Today, it meets BREEAM's high environmental standards. The office property is conveniently located in the north of Frankfurt and benefits from good connectivity, located at a highway junction with connection to Frankfurt’s central district as well as its well developed outer highway system and is in close proximity to the Riedberg campus of Goethe University. The property also includes underground parking spaces.

The second certified building, Ludwig-Erhard-Strasse 12 in Eschborn, is a 22,000 sqm office center. Eschborn is an important business location in the Frankfurt area with a large number of companies, including major international corporations in the automotive, financial services, communications and technology sectors. With a direct freeway connection and an S-Bahn station in the immediate surroundings, the property is optimally accessible and connected. The two-story parking garage offers around 450 parking spaces for employees and visitors.

With the certification of office buildings according to BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method), Aroundtown is taking a further step towards a sustainable and environmentally friendly office portfolio. BREEAM is one of the world's leading green building certification systems and assesses the environmental footprint and sustainability of real estate. Aroundtown has successfully started to obtain green building certificates for its German office portfolio as well. Four buildings at the Frankfurt, Leipzig and Kassel sites have already been certified to BREEAM and DGNB standards respectively, while further green building certificates are in the pipeline.
