Motosumo Engage the Global Cycling Community during Breast Cancer Awareness Month With Their #TrainForPink Campaign

Copenhagen October 11, 2023: Join the Movement and Cycle toward a future without breast cancer: During the last week of October, indoor cycling platform Motosumo invites indoor cyclists worldwide to take part in driving breast cancer research and awareness forward. This will be their third ‘Cycle For Change’ campaign this year, named #TrainForPink, which will run October 23-29, 2023, and will propel us towards a hopeful future free from breast cancer.

A call to action against breast cancer

Breast cancer affects one in eight women and is a statistical and personal reality for many. In the last week of October, the Motosumo community will convert collective kilometers ridden by worldwide users of the Motosumo app into financial support for ongoing research.

Kresten Juel Jensen, CEO and Co-founder of Motosumo noted, “The figures speak volumes about the widespread impact of breast cancer. It's our responsibility to stand together, utilize our digital power and community-based platform, and contribute to a cause that seeks to eradicate this all-too-common disease.”

#TrainForPink: Mobilizing global effort into tangible Impact

Through the simplicity of indoor cycling classes, with any stationary bike and the Motosumo app, participants will contribute to a vital cause. Every 150 km ridden collectively will convert to a 1 USD donation from Motosumo to the US-based Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), up to 1,500 USD. As with our other #CycleforChange campaigns, all progress and outcomes will be shared on Motosumo’s #TrainForPink landing page in the spirit of transparency.

Cycle For Change: Demonstrating a commitment to global and community impact

The #TrainForPink campaign follows the successful impacts of Motosumo’s previous #TrainForTrees and #TrainForSeas, both earlier iterations under the Cycle For Change initiative, reflecting Motosumo’s dedication to harmonizing fitness with meaningful global contributions. These prior campaigns respectively resulted in the planting of 1,074 trees and the removal of 1,538 pounds of ocean trash. “Our global community of riders not only pursues personal fitness goals but also comes together and truly values the collective impact we can create through our shared efforts,” Jensen reflects.
