Timeshare Consumer Association website getting a makeover. Fresh new look, but nothing else changes.
New look, same free, expert impartial advice and support.
The Timeshare Consumer Association (TCA) website and social media pages are getting a long overdue makeover after 23 years.
Since the legendary Sandy Grey formed the TCA in 1997, it has been respected as a punchy, intrepid consumer organisation, run on a shoestring budget, staffed largely by volunteers (mainly retired ex and current owners, plus ex timeshare workers) and funded by donations.
Our knowledge-base comes from the hundreds of communications a day we receive from the timeshare community. We use their shared experiences to advise still other people, and so the circle continues.
TCA is universally acknowledged to be the world´s leading consumer authority on the timeshare industry.
The only downside to this is the overwhelming demand for our help and advice means there never seems to be enough time to do everything, and sometimes important tasks like updating the website design get overlooked... until now.
A fresh, clearer design that matches the service we provide
Newly appointed media officer Dan Keating explains the changes.
"We've chosen a cleaner, more up to date look," explains Daniel. "The team all wanted to simplify the website user experience on the front page. The site has so much content that we were starting to look overcomplicated.
Old look. Straight lines and cursive script. Less vibrant colours.
"We are lucky enough have worked on this rebrand with a top class designer called Juan Diego and are taking full advantage of his skills. He is giving us a completely fresh theme, with vibrant blues and modern fonts" says Daniel.
New look. Modern, lowercase font. Fresh blue colours
"Juan Diego is also simplifying the user experience to make the site less cluttered and easier to navigate. Everything will be still there, but easier to use. We are all very excited for the roll out of the new site in the next few weeks.
Nothing else changes
"The important message to our followers is that we are the same organisation, operating in the same way, and run by the same people. We still have the same mission, to provide free, impartial, expert timeshare advice to anyone who asks us.

TCA provides a central resource of consumer information on timeshare matters for the media and other organisations – We work towards encouraging responsible, honest, timeshare operators. We also publicly expose negative consumer practices and organisations which operate in a manner detrimental to timeshare buyers and owners.
An important part of our mission is to lobby UK and European Governments and regulatory bodies for improved consumer protection in the timeshare environment and collect information on frauds and mis-selling, for action by enforcement authorities.
We are staffed by former and current timeshare owners, as well as former timeshare industry staff. We know our way around the timeshare business
We are a proud member of the UK Small Charities Coalition
