Formex has announced its award winners for this year, honoring FORM 01 by Skrufs Glasbruk with the In Focus award, Hermine Blixt for Design Talents – Best in Show, and Stikkan for Stand Spotlight, recognizing exceptional product design and exhibition excellence.
The Sustainability Stand returns to Formex, featuring 17 exhibitors focused on eco-friendly products. Located in Hall A, the stand showcases sustainable design and allows visitors to engage with brands through interactive features. The event runs from August 25-27, 2026.
The area Design Talents at Formex will showcase emerging designers from August 25-27, 2026, at Stockholmsmässan. A jury of industry experts selects participants, with awards and recognition for innovative talent, promoting professional development in interior design.
The internationally renowned Spanish designer and architect Patricia Urquiola joins Stockholm Furniture Fair as Guest Creative, designing the visual identity for the 2027 edition.
When Formex celebrates its 65th anniversary this August, the spotlight will be on patterns, colour, and Swedish design. The exhibition Tapetgallerie, featuring around ten wallpaper producers, along with Tapetlunden, offers visitors a unique experience of 150 metres of wallpaper inspiration – a vibrant tribute to Sweden’s unique tradition of printmaking on paper and textiles.
From 9 to 15 May 2025, Stockholmsmässan is the platform for the future of underground infrastructure. More than three thousand experts from around eighty countries will gather at this world-leading congress and exhibition on tunnelling and underground construction.

As Guest of Honour at Stockholm Furniture 2025, Toogood will create a captivating installation in the entrance hall. Her ability to work across disciplines ensures that her contribution will set the tone for the 2025 fair.
Finally, we could see each other at Nordbygg again! After two years of pandemic and a postponed fair, Nordbygg 2022 was a long wait for the public construction sector. This year’s edition has had many positive reviews and many lyrical faces have been seen in the exhibition halls.
Recoma byggskivor (Recoma building panels) won the Nordbygg Gold Medal, the award for this year’s most innovative product for 2022. The panes are completely made up of recycled composite packaging, where only heat and pressure is used in the production process which contributes to a low carbon footprint.
Just a month to go until Nordbygg welcomes the whole industry to this year’s most important construction meeting. The last preparations for the fair are underway and the stage programmes are nearly set. All that is missing are the visitors and the exhibitors.
The restrictions have been lifted and noone is happier than we - finally we can meet at the most important construction meeting of the year. Nordbygg invites you to several stages with jam-packed programmes and something for every visitor, but there will be extra focus on tech and the industry’s future development.

Despite the pandemic, the planning of the Nordics’s largest industry fair for the construction sector, Nordbygg, is well under way. The interest from exhibitors is great and everyone is looking forward to once again being able to meet, talk about products, solutions, news and business.
Nordbygg has been moved to April 20-23, 2021. The decision has been taken in close consultation with Nordbygg’s partners in the construction and real estate industry.
Nordbygg, which was originally meant to take place last week, was initially shifted to the fall of this year, but has now been rescheduled for next year. The new date is April 20-23, 2021.
In the past month alone, a great deal
Stockholmsmässan is the first Swedish exhibition center to convert its entire fleet of vehicles to run on 100% renewable fuel. Using Triboron technology and filling the tank with vegetable oil will cut fuel consumption by 5%. This in turn will make Stockholmsmässan’s CO2 emissions 45 tonnes lower per year, thus meeting one of the exhibition center's sustainability targets for 2020.
This year’s Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, the world’s leading meeting place for Scandinavian design, will be held on February 4–8. The issue of sustainability is a clear presence in the designs, material choices and production processes of many exhibitors this year.
Formex has established the Formex Nova award – Nordic Designer of the Year, to promote high quality Nordic design created by a still relatively unknown designer working in the Nordic interior design industry. A jury appoints the nominees for the award. The winner will be presented August 18.
